Worrying is as effective as
trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubblegum.

Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

The real troubles in your life
are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind.

This was a locust(Wednesday, 10 August 2011 / 1:13 pm)

Okay, so not exactly for the faint of heart. We got to dissect an earthworm for our last lab. This week we had a look at mussels and locusts. Real exciting because the wings of the locust are so intricate in the way they fold. Under the microsope the tracheae looked like a mass of beautiful silvery tubes. Who would have thought the guts of a bug could be so pretty?
